Week #1
This week is the first week of our project, and me and my partner chose which organization we wanted and started planning our general idea for what we wanted to do to raise money. We divided the work up evenly. I had to bake while my partner sold and we both tried to keep up with our social media accounts, however, Alaysha is the one who ended up doing most of it.
We chose this organization because we thought that choosing a cause that we were passionate about would be easier to do a project on. Also, both me and Alaysha have been in the place of people like this, and I feel like if we both got the help we needed, things could have been better. But I feel like we can help other people like us get the help they need.

Week#2
There was still a lot of planning that was happening this week. A lot of it was also buying the supplies and totaling everything up for how much it was going to cost. In class, we worked on our plan some more to iron out the details. On top of that, we had to start focusing on our website design as well.
With the help of my parents, I was able to put a lot of work and money towards this project. A lot of time went to baking and working on different homework. My partner is one of the best I could have asked for because she often did work while I was busy baking. She kept up with social media and updating everything for me, which really helped.

Week #3
So this was the start of our first week of bake sales, and everything sort of kicked into high gear. We raised about $80 this week from what I had. This really helps us gain a lot of confidence with everything that we were selling, and we really started to work on connecting with people and trying to be smart about where we sold things.
Most of my time spent this week was baking. It was usually every other day, and I started making a lot of different flavors to try and experiment with what more people seemed to like, just so that we could raise more. We noticed that more people weren't buying the butter mochi so we didn't sell that as much.

Week #4 This was gonna be a productive week, but I started to get sick. Because of this, I would try to make more stuff for alaysha to sell and bring it when I could. On top of that, she asked me to try and help with the social media aspect, however that was hard for me and I couldn't do as much as I should've.
During this week, we were also able to expand our reach and get up to the upper classmen, who we knew from boarding and theatre. Because of this we got a lot more buyers and people that knew we were selling would keep coming back for more stuff, which helped us raise our profit.

Week #5 This week was a slow week because we didn't really make a lot of money, nor could I bake a lot. I was sick for a lot of this week and I couldn't come to school with more to sell. However, our overall profit ended up being around $100, which I think will make a big difference in the lives of those who the organization helps. Since I couldn't bake anything, I tried to help out with the social media, however Alaysha did a lot of that too. She kept up with everything that we needed to do to help me get better, and on top of that, sold everything that she had left and it really helped me in the long rung. |
Week #6 This is the week where everything comes to an end. This was a great project that helped me learn a lot of important leadership skills along with learning more about selling things. On top of that, I bonded a lot more with my partner and learned more about how they work and what I can change about myself to work with other people.
As the project comes to a close, we might try to have another day of selling on Friday, but I'm not sure. I'm still a little under the weather, and I might have run out of supplies. But hopefully we can get past $100.
